Written for the centenary of The Salvation Army's work in Calgary, Alberta, this energetic march was premiered by Glenmore Temple band in October 1987 under its original title Calgary Centennial. Nestled in the foothills of the Roacky Mountains, the picturesque beauty of the city is linked with two melodies featured in the march - Unto the hills (Sandon) and I'm living on the mountain.
