The Denington Choral Series, as endorsed by former King’s Singer member Philip Lawson, is a range of choral works set in both SATB and SSA formats that will enhance the repertoire of both Christian and secular choirs. The combination of two respected Salvation Army figures, Albert Osborn and Eric Ball produced this classic piece. The beautifully crafted melody effectively enhances all three verses of the poem. Top sopranos have the tune throughout, with the lower female voices providing shadowing accompaniment, with a lilting piano part below. The King's Singers recorded an a cappella arrangement of this piece on their 2006 album ‘The Quiet Heart’.
